StandUp for Kids - Kitsap County 

is part of a national nonprofit organization that has been dedicated to the mission of 

ENDING THE CYCLE OF YOUTH HOMELESSNESS 

We've been working to help change the lives of youth in our community for over 30 years!  

Founded in 1992, StandUp for Kids - Kitsap County is an all-volunteer chapter that assist hundreds of unaccompanied, homeless, and at-risk youth ages 12-24 each month with necessities like weekend food bags, snacks and meals, hygiene supplies, clothing, shoes, even sleeping bags & tents. We connect with kids in need through school counselors & teachers, after-school programs, nonprofit organizations and other community partners to provide the support they need to help them transition from surviving to THRIVING!  

The issue of youth living on the streets in Kitsap County is VERY REAL!

The number of teens in crisis situations continues to grow, but the resources needed to support them in their struggles are shrinking. We are faced with big challenges in the coming year to keep up with the ever-increasing requests for help.
