The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is committed to supporting the individuals and families in the communities we serve and ensuring that they have the resources they need to be successful in life. Since our YMCA’s local founding in 1883, we have been listening and responding to meet the community’s ever-changing needs. We transform lives through three areas of focus:
Youth Development: providing before and after school child care to local youth, swim lessons and water safety instruction, youth sports, day camps, among many other programs that support children in developing their health, academic, and social-emotional skills.
Healthy Living: supporting individuals and families in their pursuit of balanced health and well-being through exercise, sports, recreation, diet, and small group classes; outdoor cardio, strength, and meditation classes; chronic disease prevention programming; and virtual fitness activities through Y360.
Social Responsibility: the Y continues to give back and offer support to the community in the form of free outreach programs and services including our Bremerton Third-Grade Swim program, free summer meals program, military outreach, and financial assistance for those in-need ensuring that no one is turned away from our programs or community centers due to an inability to pay.
The Y is committed to ensuring that individuals and families have the resources they need to thrive and develop to their full potential.
Please consider a gift of support to help us create safer, healthier, and stronger communities.
