In Washington, 900,000 people are facing hunger - and of them 250,000 are children. The average cost of a meal in our state is $4.28. That's over $1,500 per month for a family of four! The Silverdale Rotary Club has championed efforts to bring food to those in need for many years. With food costs skyrocketing, we need your support to sustain our food backpacks for homeless teens, groceries for families that can't make ends meet when school is on break, and the production of care bags that our members distribute to Kitsap County's homeless population. |

Based in Silverdale, Washington, our members are your neighbors, your banker, business owners, members of our armed forces -- retired and active duty -- and dozens of professional individuals all who possess a desire to give back to our Community. From literacy and hunger, to health and the environment, we are always working to better our communities, and we stay committed to the end.
The Silverdale Rotary Club gives back to our local community! We provide funding for a multitude of area needs.
Our current need is to increase our funds that are available to fund hunger relief projects. With food prices going through the roof, and the number of people needing help escalating daily, we need your help to sustain and grow our efforts to feed hungry children and families.
