Founded in 1989, Housing Resources Bainbridge (HRB) is Bainbridge Island’s only nonprofit affordable housing provider and advocate. As a community land trust, we conserve land for permanently affordable homes for rent and sale to low- and moderate-income households. Our Independent Living program helps older income-eligible adults and people with disabilities age in place by performing home repairs and modifications free of charge. Our Permanent Supportive Housing and Housing Stabilization programs provide rental assistance and social services designed to increase earning potential. By making it possible for people of diverse backgrounds and incomes to live on Bainbridge, we are building a more equitable, inclusive, and healthy community.
