More than a makerspace, BARN is a hub of creativity, craft, and community. BARN's 25,000-square-foot facility is home to 11 volunteer-run studios offering professional equipment, classes, open studios, and peer learning.

Each year, BARN artisans donate hundreds of hours to community service projects that transform lives throughout Kitsap County. Recent projects include:

• Custom kitchen tables crafted by our Woodworking & Small Boatbuilding Studio for young adults transitioning from foster care through the Bremerton Housing Authority.

• Home-cooked side dishes — 220 of them! — prepared by our Culinary Arts Studio for the Giving Thanks Community Meal.

• Restoration of the bronze prayer wheel at Bainbridge Island's Halls Hill Lookout by Metal Fabrication volunteers.

• And too many other projects to list!
