Puget Sound Restoration Fund

A nonprofit organization

Mission

At Puget Sound Restoration Fund (PSRF), we incubate and deploy restoration solutions for Puget Sound's marine habitats and species, to sustain people and place.

Description

We are excited to be part of 501 Commons GiveBIG 2024 Campaign!

Founded in 1997, Puget Sound Restoration Fund (PSRF) focuses on restoring marine resources through in-water projects. PSRF is a driving force in native oyster, abalone, and kelp recovery efforts. We operate a conservation hatchery to rebuild and research multiple species, and we are breaking new ground in developing strategies to mitigate ocean acidification. Our projects are scientifically based, highly collaborative, and intended to maintain a healthy ecosystem that supports human habitation along this wonderful coast of ours.

Donations through the Give Big Campaign boost our on-the-ground recovery efforts and keep us barreling forward to restore native marine species and habitats in Puget Sound.
