This year's fundraising efforts will towards our ongoing project to improve the area around our youth center, including the building of an outdoor basketball court! Funds raised will help to offset the costs of maintenance, community use areas, and other projects at The Next Door.
The Next Door Youth Center is staffed by Youth for Christ staff and North Point Church volunteers and serves over 50 students from Poulsbo Middle School and North Kitsap High School daily. On Wednesdays volunteers prepare and serve food to students during early release. The center also serves the community by providing a space for meetings for various youth organizations and overflow for our North Kitsap HS lunches in the fall and spring.
We hope that this project will help to continue to provide a beautiful gathering space for the North Kitsap community.
