KFCA exists to support and train foster families all over Kitsap county. Why? Because foster parenting is hard work. We need extra support from the community in order to focus on the kids. We need training with free childcare so that we can learn behavior strategies with our partners. We need child free time so that we can connect with our partners and refresh in order to continue the hard work that's necessary to keep kids safe in our homes. When we keep kids in safe and stable placements, everybody benefits! KFCA is proud to provide extra resources, like backpacks full of school supplies and holidays gifts, extra training and family fun days to connect with other families like ours.
To support and inspire foster, kinship, and adoptive caregivers through educational opportunities, enrichment activities, and by advocating for foster children in our local community.
