The Illahee Forest Preserve, in collaboration with the Kitsap County Parks, the Rotary Club of East Bremerton, and local community groups, is working to complete the vision for the Illahee Preserve as a “Forested Central Park & Wildlife Preserve”. Illahee Forest Preserve will encompass over 600 acres when complete, to include a salmon stream in a nearly self contained watershed, a wildlife preserve, old growth forest, forest trails, a riparian (stream) area so pristine and wild it has been called “The Lost Continent”, and an adjacent community golf course. This is being accomplished incrementally with the purchase of adjacent forest parcels as they become available.
To provide Preserve users, supporters, and wildlife the ultimate nature experience.
To establish a Forested Central Park and Wildlife Preserve.
