$30,000 Goal

The ChangeUp Foundation is driven by the belief that young people – no matter their background – deserve equitable access to education, the key to unlocking life's opportunities. Underpinning our efforts, we believe there is a cycle in our society that lacks the fair application of justice and creation of opportunity based on race. This historically unjust cycle significantly impacts the daily lives and future prospects of young BIPOC students, and, in turn, impacts us as a whole, creating inequalities with impacts that ripple across our society.

To break this cycle, we believe we must take bold, collective action by investing our time, talents and most importantly treasure in BIPOC students. By improving access to higher education, we believe we are creating opportunities, when combined with hard work, empowers young people to achieve more.

Role of Our Supporters:

As a 100% volunteer led and run 501c3 organization, ChangeUp Foundation works to inspire and engage with individuals, families and businesses to raise funds to directly fund our scholarships. Through contributions of all levels (from large gifts to crowdfunding), donors play a critical role in ChangeUp’s ability to provide scholarships that fill a critical need of students who are accepted to high ed, but have a gap in their ability to pay for college.

ChangeUp strives for 100% of all donor contributions to be applied to our scholarships, with volunteers, grants and our board of directors covering operational expenses for the organization.

Giving Activity

Mission

Our mission is to help send BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) students from Bremerton (Washington) to college by providing scholarships that provide vital, ongoing financial support to open doors to education, personal growth, and upward mobility for students and their families.

Needs

Crowdfunding Donations

Your generous, tax-deductible donations (one-time, monthly, annual) will make an immediate impact, providing financial assistance to students in need. No matter the level, every dollar counts and allows us to fund scholarships at greater levels and include more students in our program.

Corporate Sponsorships

Partner with us to make a significant impact on education and equity. Tax-deductible corporate sponsorships not only benefit our scholarship recipients but also demonstrate your commitment to social responsibility. We will partner with you to maximize the visibility and impact of your donation through our Foundation marketing efforts including website, social media, and in-person recognition at the Bremerton High School Awards’ Night Ceremony.
