Agape is a non-profit behavioral health provider that offers evidenced based substance use disorder treatment to youth and adults. We also offer mental health services, homeless housing programs, transitional housing for pregnant parenting women and children, Parent Child Assistance Program, peer services, street outreach, FREE licensed childcare, treatment navigation services, case management and referral services. Agape adheres to the philosophy that no person should be turned away and we will exhaust all resources to get clients the treatment and housing they need.
Client story:
Agape housed me and handed me my keys to a studio apartment. I remember crying because this was the day of my birthday and it was the best birthday I have ever had. I soon felt a sense of hope and I was already starting to feel the promises they say happen in recovery. I moved everything I had into my studio and the following weekend my son started coming for visits. I started to meet with the Housing Case Manager who supported me with achieving small goals to move forward in my life. These included, getting my license, social security cards, [...] They didn't give up on me [...] They believed in me until I could believe in myself.
