St. Vincent de Paul - Bremerton
of Matching Funds Remaining
To feed the hungry, cloth the naked, house the homeless in a compassionate caring way.
From a former family, (a single Dad with 2 children) I have had to use your services in the past and I always felt guilty, You know, like there were people more in need than myself and my children, Thank you for helping me to feel comfortable and not ashamed, thank you for your concern for my family. Thank you for the food, clothing, holiday baskets and the hugs. I am now able to provide for my family and am now giving back by volunteering my time and my talents. Again, thank you St. Vincent de Paul for being so compassionate and caring when I felt like I was at my lowest point in my young life. This is exactly what we hope to provide, one family at a time.
During the fiscal year ending September 30, 2017 St. Vincent de Paul served 21,000 people with various kinds of emergency assistance including food. (We distributed 10,000 food baskets). We also provided clothing, transportation, household furnishings, and emergency shelter for Single Women & Single Women with their children. Kitsap Great give funding will help St Vincent de Paul continue with its commitment of serving basic emergency needs of those in our community who are having a difficult time. St. Vincent de Paul offers assistance without regard to race or religious affiliation. In addition to serving basic needs we are able to refer our families to additional resources in the community.
