Kitsap Humane Society
KHS is the principal animal shelter and safety net organization for lost and homeless animals in Kitsap County. Our # 1 goal as a Humane Society is to save animals lives. This is WHY we exist and thanks to our animal loving community we are seeing great results.

With the amazing support of our adopters, volunteers and donors, in 2017 Kitsap Humane Society (KHS) rescued and rehomed over 6,800 pets, rescued over 2,400 at-risk pets from overcrowded shelters through our Rescue Me Program, truly giving them a 2nd chance in life, 731 lost pets were reunited with their owners, performed over 5,600 spay/neuter surgeries and supported over 1,200 animals in Foster Care.
While we take great pride in the success that we have had - we want to save more animals' lives. Our Kitsap Community's animal welfare needs are greater than our current capacity to meet those needs. The very existence of our shelter's life-saving programs relies heavily on donor support. Community support thru Great Give is critical to giving more animals a second chance in life.
